Established in 1989, Advanced Fire & Rescue Services is a privately owned and operated fire, rescue and medical services company providing emergency services to a wide variety of organizations and venues. Based in Southern California, our personnel and equipment have provided services in six Western states. Founded upon the strong tradition of America’s fire departments, Advanced Fire & Rescue Services exists to augment, not replace, current state, county and municipal fire protection agencies by providing our customers with high quality services tailored to their specific needs. AFRS has aquired 6 new AED units to better equip the rescue vehicles and comply with the state mandates. Pictured are: Capt's McBride, Fuentes, & Sanford. AFRS was instrumental in a rescue at WSIR and assisted Life Flight ro remove an injured driver following a roll over incident. AFRS team members were awarded the Star Award for a rescue at PIR. Congratulations to AFRS recovery specialists for all the dedicated hours. AFRS has undertaken a "FILL THE BOOT" fund raising effort to provide 6 new defibulators in order to comply with new regulations. It is the hope that the many participants, drivers and event cordinators will give generously to this effort. AFRS wishes to thank HSR West and the participants for kicking this effort off in grand fashion with it's donation. AFRS will gladly accept corporate and individual donations to "Fill the Boot" and this will be an ongoing effort to supply AFRS with the most current and state approved equipment Please check back often & watch the thermometer raise!
