AFRS has added a new & completely equiped rescue truck. This brings to a total of 5 rescue vehicles available for a wider spread coverage to multiple venues at the same time.

Advanced Fire & Rescue Services has an extensive fleet of equipment as pictured above.

Fire Engines--These full-sized fire engines are capable of pumping 1,250 gallons of water per minute and are used primarily for extended attack fire suppression or fire standby near high hazard areas and have appeared in many motion picture and television productions. These vehicles are staffed by at least three Firefighter/EMTs and come equipped with at least 500 gallons of water, AFFF foam (fuel fires), various hoses, nozzles and other water appliances and a standard complement of emergency medical gear.

Rescue Vehicles-These vehicles are primarily used on initial attack fire suppression, vehicle extrication, medical and other emergency situations. The addition of the 1992 Ford Ambulance has greatly increased the capibilities of the medical response aspect of Advanced Fire & Rescue. Each “Rescue” is staffed with at least two Firefighter/EMTs and is equipped with at least 175 gallons of water, AFFF foam (for fuel fires), hydraulic spreaders (Jaws of Life) and cutters, emergency medical supplies, a resuscitator and additional equipment designed for use in vehicle extrication and fire suppression.

Tow Trucks-Primarily used for motorsports racing work.Tow 1 is a lift-type tow truck with cables and separate wheel lift for use in emergency vehicle recovery as well as providing limited fire suppression and extrication capability.
