Advanced Fire & Rescue Firefighters serve as an integral part of a "family" of personnel assigned to respond to unique emergency calls. Advanced Fire & Rescue Services Firefighters may serve as a member of a rescue squad crew, an EMS team, an engine crew, or be assigned other duties as required.

Candidates MUST possess the following minimum requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
California FF-I certificate or equivalent
Current EMT-I certificate
Valid California drivers license.
Able to attend regularly scheduled training sessions
(i.e. must reside within one hour driving radius of Santa Clarita, CA)

Although we plan to fill full-time positions in the future, this is currently a part-time position only. However, certain events may take place over a number of days and require overnight stays. In addition, Firefighters are required to attend regularly scheduled training sessions and business meetings.

Advanced Fire & Rescue Services provides its members many unique opportunities, not only in the fire service, but also in the business world. Our company is a place to gain excellent experience as an emergency service provider.
